RIDE THE RIDGE.  The annual Ride the Ridge will be in June this year.  
This is a free ride and open to the public.  Riders will bring their own
lunches and  meet at 9 a.m. at Fort Robinson for a beautiful ride in
Nebraska's biggest state park.  Coffee and doughnuts before the ride are
provided by the
Chadron Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee.  No RSVP
necessary.

A free trail riding clinic will be presented by the Crawford Natural
Horsemanship Club at 8 p.m. in the Fort Robinson arena.  Riders are invited
to compete in a trail class following the clinic.  Prizes will be awarded.

Ride to the Red Cloud Buttes on Sunday morning for breakfast at 8 a.m.  
Tickets will be available at the Fort Robinson lodge.

FATHER'S DAY RIDE.  Our third annual Father's Day ride.  Starts at 2
p.m. at  Ash Creek Ranch.  Trail will wind through pine hills and canyons
on private ranches and conclude with a Dutch oven supper cooked over
an open fire and evening entertainment. Liability and helmet waivers
are required.  Cost is $25 for riders 13 and over and $10 for kids under
13.  RSVP by June 17, please.

OUR ANNUAL FALL RIDE.  Weather permitting.  An afternoon ride
through some of Nebraska's most beautiful back country with fall
colors to rival New England's.  A Dutch oven supper and cowboy
entertainment will end the day. Liability and helmet waivers are
required.  $25 for riders 13 and over and $10 for kids under 13.
