RIDE THE RIDGE.  The annual Ride the Ridge will be July 2, 2011 in
connection with Crawford's 125th anniversary celebration.  The ride will
begin at 8 a.m. at Belmont and follow the historic Sidney-Deadwood
stagecoach trail down Breakneck Hill to Fort Robinson.  

The Sunday morning ride will begin at Fort Robinson at 7 a.m. and wind
through McKenzie Pass on the way to Crawford for a free breakfast and
then back to Fort Robinson.

MISS RODEO NEBRASKA benefit trail ride. Help Becky Grimm in
her bid for the national title.  Trail ride through some of Nebraska's most
beautiful butte country. Dutch oven supper at the end of the trail includes
chuck wagon steak, campfire potatoes, cowpoke beans, sheepherder
bread, salad and caramel apple dumplings.  Overnight accommodations
